Last year, the iconic Beatles film ‘Yellow Submarine’ celebrated its 50th anniversary, with its vivid hand-drawn imagery—by German artist Heinz Edelmann—digitally remastered for a modern audience. Stella attended a screening with family and friends and left inspired.

And so, the ‘All Together Now’ collection was born. With its accompanying campaign film, it is a psychedelic adventure through a colourful world, bringing the music, comedy, imagery and spirit of the film back to life in a new way. The film’s timeless message of peace, love and togetherness resonates deeply with the Stella McCartney ethos, and Stella sets out to reimagine it for a new generation. A fun, uplifting and hopeful statement of unity, at a time when it feels more important than ever.

The campaign film sees our four musical talents KEYAH/BLU, Joy Crookes, Oscar Jerome and Femi Koleoso exploring the Sea of Holes from ‘Yellow Submarine’, as they are transported to the hallucinogenic world of Sergeant Pepper Land. They interact with graphics and characters from the film before coming together to perform a dreamy beat composed exclusively for the campaign.

Our talents are dressed head-to-toe in the new collection, which is as kaleidoscopic and bold as the original film. Lyrics like ‘All You Need is Love’ sing out across shirting, sparkling ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’ dancers enliven dresses, Beatles badges and embroidery eclectically decorate outerwear and candy-coloured Fur-Free-Fur nods to the 60s. As well as women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, the collection also spans kidswear.
