Our Stella McCartney Shared capsule is rising up
A new vision for a rising generation, our Stella McCartney Shared capsule collection is a youthful, genderless exploration of an international collective linked by shared styles and activist values – expressing individuality, diversity and positivity in the face of climate change and social revolution. It is a bold, relevant edit of luxurious streetwear curated for Stella’s tribe of global change agents, unafraid to stand up for what they care about.
Our #StellaShared unisex capsule speaks the language of a rising cohort finding and using their voices – developing their senses of self and leveraging self-expression to affect positive social change. This spirit is personified in our campaign by a cohort of next-gen Chinese creators led by actor Leo Wu.
Easily worn by men and women, Stella McCartney Shared remixes our brand icons with an urban energy across suiting and tailoring, soft double and trench coats, and featherless, cruelty-free puffer jackets. Footwear explores the contrast of high and low by elevating structured hiking boots with rich details, bold colours and elevated accents.
Stella McCartney Shared’s strong graphics arise from a collaboration with London-based illustrator and comic-book artist Will Sweeney – inspired by urban-utopian fantasies, from 70s sci-fi landscapes to Roger Dean paintings to British dub LP sleeves. Our logo is also disrupted with the additions of ‘Stella McCartney Est.2001’ and ‘23 Old Bond Street – London’.
Staying true to Stella’s commitment to sustainability, jersey t-shirts and sweatshirts are made from 100% organic cotton – using up to 70% less water than conventional cotton and no toxic chemicals or pesticides. Recycled polyester was also used for the capsule collection’s parkas, reducing the need for virgin petroleum-based materials.
