Beyoncé wears custom Stella McCartney for Renaissance Tour
Beyoncé wore a custom Stella McCartney look during her Renaissance World Tour, on Thursday 8th June at Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
Echoing the Renaissance theme that exudes opulence, disco, joyfulness and even horse power in the shape of Reneigh, the look featured a silver crystal moulded dress and leggings. The look was handcrafted from responsible materials at our London atelier, featuring a sculpted baguette silhouette inspired by our Winter 2023 runway collection.
It is a life moment to dress someone as iconic and inspiring as Beyoncé – a visionary pioneer, disruptor and artist who has worked tirelessly to make the world a better place. She is the embodiment of what it means to be a Stella woman, and I could not be prouder to design and create this custom look reflecting her power and glamour.
The bespoke dress and leggings shone at Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, glimmering with silver lead-free crystals – safer for local ecosystems and communities. Each was hand-placed on mesh and laid over our responsibly sourced, traceable RWS wool that ensures the highest levels of environmental stewardship and ethical standards. It was lined with forest-friendly viscose, made from responsibly sourced wood pulp to conserve ancient, endangered and protected forests.
