Rock Royalty: The Autumn 2025 collection
Autumn 2025 is a study in Stella McCartney’s rock ‘n roll heritage, diving into her inspirational parents, personal archive and activism for Mother Earth and her creatures. A collection of Stella’s greatest hits, the line-up emboldens wearability, sensuality and sustainability.
Statement details and silhouettes reference Paul and Linda McCartney’s shared wardrobes, grounded by a palette of berry tones and rich textures. A rockstar sex appeal and glamour are seen across hand-placed embroideries on 70s tailoring, organic cotton denim and dresses, alongside tactile loop knits and vegan alternatives to suede.
This inspiration continues through iconic Savile Row tailoring, seen in men’s herringbone coats in deadstock materials and patched responsibly sourced wool sets.
A day-to-night edit includes draped silhouettes with batwing, strong-shouldered jersey dresses, off-the-shoulder knits and forest-friendly viscose satin skirts, while everyday staples transition into evening statements with a tuxedo edit, across classic smoking tailoring, gowns in modern cuts and hand-embroidery.
An iconic Stella motif, animal influences come from cruelty-free croc skirts and bombers in YATAY® M, as well as leopard knits and trenches in recycled nylon. Stella McCartney’s most sustainable collection to date, Autumn 2025 ready-to-wear is crafted using 99% conscious materials. New innovations include garments in YATAY® M, a biobased vegan croc using fungi mycelium.
A vehicle for innovation, the S-Wave Sport trainers return this season in Piñayarn®, a 100% plant-based, recyclable and biodegradable textile sourced from pineapple leaves, with soles in BioCir® Flex – a compostable, recyclable and biobased alternative to fossil fuel-based plastics.
The new Ryder bag returns in new sizes, shades and sustainable materials, including biobased vegan croc alternative UPPEAL™. Our iconic Falabella is seen in high-shine patent as well as a novel aged effect, handcrafted and finished in Italy. In footwear, sculptural Elsa pointed pumps, sharply heeled Spur boots and strapped sandals elevate feminine sensuality in cruelty-free and comfortable materials.
The Autumn 2025 collection will be available from Stella McCartney boutiques worldwide, at stellamccartney.com and selected retailers globally from May 2025.
