NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

The STELLA’S GOLDEN HORSESHOE competition (the “Sweepstakes”) will run from 6.00 pm on January 17th 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 6.00 pm on February 13th 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

All entries must be submitted and received by Stella McCartney by no later than 6.00 pm on the Closing Date. All Sweepstakes entries received after the Closing Date are not valid.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with, be legally bound by, and to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Stella McCartney America, Inc., 210 Eleventh Avenue, Suite 1102, New York, NY 10001 (“Stella McCartney” or “Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

Stella McCartney will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed, regardless of cause. The Sweepstakes Entities (defined below) and each of their respective agents, representatives, employees, directors, officers, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) assume no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, delay, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.

Eligibility



The Sweepstakes is only open to legal United States residents residing in one of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia at the time of entry aged 18 years or over. In entering the Sweepstakes, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Stella McCartney may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”) and the immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household of each, are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

The Prize

The prize is one Stella McCartney Ryder bag (crossbody, vegan material, logo padlock).

The prize is subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize. Stella McCartney reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

All federal, state, provincial and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner, as applicable. The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer the prize, unless permitted by Sponsor in its discretion.

Winner

The winner shall be selected at random by an individual independent from Stella McCartney located in London which will guarantee transparency and fairness of the draw. Stella McCartney will attempt to contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date using the email address provided for participation in the Sweepstakes. The date that Stella McCartney first attempts to make contact with the winner will be the “Announcement Date”. Selection is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Claiming the prize

Stella McCartney will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, Stella McCartney reserves the right to offer the prize to charity. Please allow 30 days for delivery of the Prize.

The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

The Released Parties accept no obligation or liability whatsoever in respect of any decision regarding the subsequent distribution, allocation, use or misuse of the prize.

Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, Stella McCartney, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Stella McCartney, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (A) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (B) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (C) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (D) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO ENTRANTS.

General

By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted, if applicable, only for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy available together with these rules https://www.stellamccartney.com/gb/en/legal/privacy-policy.html. This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Stella McCartney may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude any entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes. Stella McCartney reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Sweepstakes where it becomes necessary to do so.

Governing Law: To the fullest extent permitted by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. By entering, all entrants agree, with respect to any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes, to be subject to the jurisdiction and venue of New York County, New York.

Winner Name(s): A winner’s list may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Stella McCartney America, Inc., Sweepstakes, 210 Eleventh Avenue, Suite 1102, New York, NY 10001. All such requests must be received within six (6) weeks after the end of the Announcement Date.
